How to Choose the Right Size Auto A/C hose for your Car

Car air conditioning (AC) systems play a vital role in keeping us comfortable during hot summer days or in any weather condition. Behind the scenes, there are several components that work together to ensure the efficient cooling of the vehicle's interior. One such component is the car AC hose pipe. When the AC hose is broken, how to get a right one for replacement.

Firstly, you should check and know which part of AC hose is broken. As there are many different parts in the whole car air conditioning system, the AC hoses are the connectors for these parts.

If you find the broken AC hose is the hose from air conditioning evaporator to compressor. It is the suction AC hose, the hose size is #10, 1/2 inch as the inner diameter. It is the bigger hose in the whole car air conditioning system

For some older car make and air conditioning hose, the hose size can be #12 5/8inchi, still the bigger size.

If the hose connects the air conditioning compressor to the top connection of the condenser.

The hose size should be #8 13/32inch. It is the middle size in the whole car air conditioning system.
